Privacy notice

Event Support Team Ltd (trading as EST Group), company number 09025788, registered at Fulford House, Newbold Terrace, Leamington Spa, England, CV32 4EA, is the data controller for the information you provide. You can contact us about your data at privacy@estuk.co.uk.

When you apply we collect your name, contact details, the location you gave, your confirmation that you have the right to work in the UK, anything you write in your application, and your CV if you upload one. If you complete an online interview we also collect your interview responses.

We use your information to consider you for the role you applied for, to arrange and assess your interview, and to contact you about your application. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in recruiting for our roles, and taking steps at your request before entering a possible employment contract.

The EST Group is a family of companies: Event Support Team, Parktec, BUSBUS, ANPRODATA. Your application is shared only with the company you applied to and the staff involved in that recruitment. We do not sell your information or share it for marketing.

We use AI to help run and summarise interviews so that every applicant is asked the same questions and considered consistently. A member of our team reviews the interview and makes the hiring decision. No decision about your application is made by automated means alone.

If you are not successful we keep your application for up to 12 months in case a suitable role comes up, then delete it. If you are hired, your information becomes part of your employment record. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

If you agree, we record video of you during your online interview and take one photo of you holding your photo ID. We use these only to review your interview and to confirm that the person who interviewed is the person we hire, on the basis of your consent. Only the hiring team can view them, they are stored securely, and they are deleted within 6 months of a decision on your application. Video is always optional: you can interview without it, and we will simply check your ID in person instead.

If you ask us to tell you when new roles open, we collect your email address, your first name if you give it, and which of our companies you are interested in. We use this only to email you about new roles, on the basis of your consent, and never for anything else. We keep your details until you unsubscribe or after 24 months of no new roles matching your interest, whichever comes first. Every alert email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also withdraw at any time by emailing privacy@estuk.co.uk.

You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these, email privacy@estuk.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), where we are registered under ZB3384249.
